Universal Housing Module (UHM): Splice Cassette

Universal Housing Modules are cassettes which can be easily adapted for multiple applications such as splicing, MTP®, or slack storage. For splicing applications, the UHM uses a standard faceplate on the front allowing for use of any connector type. Inside the cassettes are cable tie down locations, molded spools for fiber routing and slack, and a central post position to hold fiber single fiber and ribbon splice chips. The splice chips are removable, and stackable for multiple fiber splices. The back of the cassette body has 2 incoming cable locations, and multiple knock-out locations to convert the module to a pre-terminated MTP® module. A sliding lid provides easy internal access. UHM Splice cassettes are offered in the Classic family specification, and are fully compile with any Classic enclosures.
